(Time- and Scope-Bound Public Display Rights)
This MARA® Display License Addendum (“Display License”) forms part of and is incorporated by reference into the Terms & Conditions of MARA Rating Company AG (“MARA”).
This Display License applies only where the User has explicitly purchased or been granted Display Rights.
1. Grant of Display Rights
Subject to full compliance with this Addendum, MARA grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable Display License to publicly display specific MARA Materials (“Licensed Display Materials”).
Display Rights are limited to:
the specific report or asset purchased,
the specific version and as-of date,
the approved duration, and
the approved scope of display.
No other rights are granted or implied.
2. Display Duration
Display Rights are granted only for the fixed term selected at purchase, starting from the date of first public display or publication (whichever occurs first).
Upon expiration:
all public display must cease immediately,
removal from websites, documents, and repositories is required,
continued display constitutes unauthorized use.
Display Rights do not renew automatically unless explicitly agreed in writing.
3. Permitted Scope of Display
Display Rights are valid only for the scope selected at purchase, which may include one or more of the following:
a single external document or presentation,
multiple external documents,
corporate or asset-specific websites.
Any use outside the approved scope requires a separate Display License.
Paid advertising, promotional campaigns, or mass-distribution media are expressly excluded unless separately licensed in writing.
4. Mandatory Attribution and Context
All public displays must include, in immediate proximity:

Omission of any element constitutes material breach.
5. Integrity of Display
The User shall not:
modify, crop, recolor, restyle, or redesign MARA visuals,
alter wording, emphasis, or conclusions,
create composite marks with other logos or seals,
fragment or selectively excerpt content to imply conclusions not stated by MARA,
embed MARA Materials within proprietary scoring, rankings, or benchmarks.
6. No Endorsement
Display of MARA Materials does not imply:
endorsement of a product, company, price, or transaction,
validation of regulatory, HTA, reimbursement, or commercial outcomes,
agreement by MARA with any third-party interpretation.
Any implication of endorsement is prohibited.
7. Revocation
MARA may revoke the Display License immediately in case of:
misuse,
misrepresentation,
reputational risk,
breach of this Addendum or the Terms & Conditions.
Upon revocation, all display must cease without delay.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in this Addendum expands MARA’s liability beyond the limits set in the Terms & Conditions.
Display is granted at the User’s sole risk.
9. Governing Law
This Display License is governed by Swiss law, with exclusive jurisdiction in Switzerland.
